Purchased a couple of graphics cards and a few other bits here myself. Great service so far.

This forum is so well contained i forget sometimes it is actually an online shop!;)

I discovered the forum long before i ever made a purchase. Think it must be good for a business to have a large and respectable forum community.
How about you?

I take it if any customers have anything bad to say about Overclockers on the forum they are banned?

No negative shop talk on forum seems to be the rule around here ;)

I've bought things a few times, but I'm by no means a regular customer. I've spent more on stuff from the MM.

Some people have been introduced to this site by their friends, so some of them may not have purchased anything.

Only a couple of items, but given how many forum members there are I'd say the forum is a definite advantage for the shop.

I think there's a feedback part in the forum somewhere, not had to use it myself, but that's a good idea for if people have any questions about the service. Makes sense to keep the forum slightly separated from the retail side if things I think, as discussion threads won't get polluted with questions about returns and stuff.

I use to always buy things from Overclockers UK and other competitors, Overclockers was of my least used retailers for components though.
Since I discovered and joined the forums though, it's my favourite and I would buy from here regardless of the prices.

I used to think OCUK was 'just another' retailer until I discovered the massive community behind its forums.

I buy from ocuk because it's what im used to, plus the forums make it easier should i have any issues.

Plus i cba to go elsewhere, unless it's something ocuk doesn't stock :p

I haven't bought anything from OCUK....yet.
I will do eventually, the community is active which is what I'm here for really.

I have tried to buy something once but, after a couple of days, it transpired the item was not in stock.

I do generally find stuff cheaper elsewhere as well.

Can't really blame the Overclocker's bosses for that one!:)

General discussion and most sub forums are not a place for those types of discussions, there's customer service forums who deal with that, OcUK are a business and they provide us with these forums for free, their only request is that we keep it clean.

Yes I have purchased from OcUk for years, have purchased 2 whole builds from them and a few bits and bobs, it's the only computer retailer that I use and probably will always keep using, I was introduced to this website in 2008 by a work colleague and never looked back ,loved the simplicity of the website, loved how everything is not always cluttered, (some computer websites are really badly designed), love the ratings and reviews system, loved how all the specs and probably everything you need to know is always listed in detail, love that they bother to put multiple pictures up of mostly anything, love the daily deals, the weekly offers, NEVER had a problem with delivery, they always deliver on time (and it's free for me), free 1 day courier delivery sometimes, can't go wrong with that. Love the overclocked bundles which I don't purchase but for someone who is new or not up to date with overclocking, you have to admit that having pretty much a guide telling you what the best components in terms of compatibility and performance are is extremely useful, which I'm sure OcUK test before putting a bundle up for sale on their website. overclockers always seem to have the best prices and items in stock, this is not always but I believe they try their best and nobody can be perfect, specially in such a competitive market.

Overall yeah, I'd say, thanks overclockers and keep up the good work.

Spie has said in the past that the forums overall cost money.

OT I havn't bought anything from here for a while, but I have also not bought any PC hardware for a while either.

Iv bought a few things from here. Cant complain about the service. I will definately be buying again

I'm sure it does, with admin and hosting etc. But in terms of boosting the brand profile and stuff its a pretty good marketing tool.

I know I almost always refer here as a first port of call which can only be a good thing for the shop. I would say that reason is mainly due to the forum. That and the shop site layout is very easy to navigate and spec stuff up.

Indeed, and I'm sure that he weighed those factors in when coming to his conclusion.

Havent bought anything pc related in a long while. But when I do, OcUK is my first port of call. I can sometimes find cheaper elsewhere, but when you factor in the free P+P for regulars it usually turns out better!

Many many years ago I did not buy from them as they did not have the best reputation for CS however over the last years it has improved and I now only buy from OCUK and no longer bother to shop around.

Yeah, I could have got my last purchase from elsewhere cheaper, but brand loyalty and good CS put my money here again :s

I've shopped here, but not in a long time. I try to use the members' Market when I can, which hopefully helps some money find its way back to ocuk.
