I am blessed with being left handed, and, throughout my childhood played the guitar. I sold my electric 2yrs ago but retained my acoustic.

I want back in!

I've had a look around the usual haunts and majorly disappointed in SoundControl/Reverb disappearing as well as my other local stores revoke their Left-Handed supplies. This pushes me to shop online.

I've previously owned ESP, Ibanez and Fender guitars and ideally am after an ESP again but very little stock appears for LH. Anyone know of decent shops for lefty guitars - particularly ESP?

I'm a lefty guitarist too but I don't know a good store. I got all of mine from a place near Stockport called Sounds Great Music, but, I like Clapton Strats so had them made for me by the Fender Custom Shop (via Sounds Great).
I did get a regular ES335 and a Martin acoustic but I think even they had to be ordered in.

It's certainly a pain trying to find great Leftys in stock!

My brother is a leftie and it's an absolute nightmare trying to get a decent guitar.

I don't advocate this at all, really, but I think the best thing to do is look around online and buy one that you like the look of. If it doesn't play how you'd like, send it back.

Recently spent a whole day traveling around Glasgow with my brother as he tried out all the left handed guitars in the city and even at that, the selection was poor.

Sorry I can't be of more help. GAK had a decent selection online from what I recall. Guitar Guitar had a few too.

I'm a lefty, and I got so frustrated that I just started playing right handed guitars (in the right handed position, as well). I have never looked back. ;)

How long were you playing left for?

I've been playing left for around 12yrs... I don't think I could ever jump across and start learning all over again.
 
I couldn't re-learn either... been at it over 20 years. Wish I'd just started 'righty'! The annoying thing is I'm ONLY lefty for writing and guitar. Everything else I'm righty (throwing, playing pool etc.etc)
