Probably a daft question, but does anyone know if an O2 highstreet store will match their own website prices?

I was in O2 today asking about the Galaxy S2 and they quoted me £27pcm for 300/3000/500MB with handset free, while online the same package has the handset costing £50. So I'm pretty sure they will match the website price if you ask...

they should, afterall they advertise it and if your clever enough to take advantage they should honor it. friend of mine went to Comet before as he saw some headphones £30 cheaper online, and when he mentioned it as they were £30 more instore, they matched the internet price without any hassle. different store but should be same policys

To save anyone ever asking the same question

Unlike Phones4U (whom could only place a web order in store and wait for it to arrive, even though they had the phone in stock).... O2 were happy to match in store there and then. (YEY)
