OK, well I'm planning to make the switch from PC to Mac and I'm after some advice to ensure that the switch is as smooth as possible.
I'm looking at buying a MacBook Pro in the next few weeks. However I'm going to have to dual boot it and install windows as I need that to run some of the programs I use for University work. I'll be mainly using the Mac OS though.
Is there any particular tips with regards to transferring documents or is it simple enough to transfer them on to an external HD and copy them over?
With regards to programs will I need to buy a new MS Office package, or can I use my current disc?
Any advice will be appreciated
