Osama bin Laden is dead - no graphic/violent images.

The Americans would have to be monumentally stupid to claim he was dead as all it would require is one tape to give the other side a massive propaganda victory. However don't let common sense get in the way of a good conspiracy.

No as he didnt plan it alone and the group behind the attack are still out there and you can bet your ass they are planning another attack in the name of there new Martyr Osama Bin Laden

In fact - and this will be my last post, I don't want to start a flame war - I could have picked exactly who would chime in to this thread trying to 'debunk' it. Now the thing for you to think about is that most of GD could also do the same.

Have a think about what that tells you. And no, it's not that "we're blinkered by the government fed lies through mass media blah blah blah".

It's because, on the evidence provided, your negation of that evidence makes no sense whatsoever.
 
It's taken around 10 years to find him. Now they've "said" they've killed him, is that to only shut up the people who were questioning why they haven't captured him?

For some reason I thought if they'd ever found him, they'd at least show some proof, but buried out to sea? Sorry but why not show the proof?

Conspiracy theorists are right to go mental, because everyone should really believe the media, when there isn't any proof.

Of course, but he hasn't carried out or been named responsible for any attacks in the last 15 years in the East or the West. Why people are saying this is good news for the west I have no idea? Haven't our goverment killed many civillians this year alone? Why are't we executing them and saying "good news"?

George Bush and Tony Blair this morning are congratulating Obama on the death of bin Laden. That is pretty distasteful itself.
 
Very little about this makes Bin Laden a martyr. He has been repressed into hiding for nearly a decade, Al-Qaeda is the smallest it has been for nearly 30 years. They haven't done anything worthwhile for years, and the muslim community is turning on them. He finally gets found, popped off quietly and dumped in the sea where nobody can enshrine him.

How does that make him a martyr? If anything he would be extremely disappointed that his ideals petered out into mere undertones.

But his death alone will not make too much of a difference, and I guess that some form of retalliation is on the way.

Since when was there ANY Burden of proof or International Convention that dictated any of the armed forces to provide a body in this situation ????

I am sure that it must have been an agonising decision for those leading the operation 'Do we keep the body or don't we ??? What if they kick off on the OcUK Forums with the old no proof and it can't possibly be true technique' Sleepless nights to come for them boys me thinks :rolleyes:
 
Just read the full details.

Bin Laden was 6'5" and staying in a million pound house near to a military academy in a city with a population of 120,888.... and the Pakistan forces (whose country it is) couldn't find him yet the Americans could.... Pakistan has a lot to answer for IMHO.

Be as you may but we must have our own loyalties.

Whilst you are true to an extent, I think the amount of good things our leaders do helps the balance, whereas bin laden didn't do anything good.
