Osama bin Laden is dead - no graphic/violent images.

But you would not tell anyone in the pakistan government that you are going to do this operation, as all it takes is one person to **** it up.

Lose lips sinks ships.

it was to high a target to risk telling anyone what your going to do.

Whats your point? I'm not debating the decision to tell nobody, not even Pakistan, of the impending raid. The more people know the more chance it has of being leaked to them. It was the correct decision.

I'm saying the claims that Pakistan must've known he was there because he lived 60 miles away from the capital are a load of ********. And that just because they may have some members still friendly to Al Qaeda doesn't mean they could've kept it a secret from everyone. All it would've taken is 1 person to find out and leak the information.
Hell for all we know that could be how it went down and Pakistan don't want to be involved for fear of reprisal.

That is the irony of it and we can debate that all day.

The fact is he ceased to become an asset to the US intelligence services, bankrolled AQ terror attacks on US assets and people and as such sealed his own fate.

Hmmmm....

No Body to prove it?
Buried him at sea within 24 hours?

Surely they would need more time to 100% confirm it was defo him, and surely they wouldnt bury him straight away...Something doesnt seem right...

I thought they got him on Friday and fed him to the fish today?

So we agree then, that it isn't black and white and the idea of good guys and bad guys is just a line in order to a achieve a selfish goal?

Was bin Laden a evil terrorist when America was helping the Mujahideen fight the Russians?

No, he was probably a great help.

Its only when he cracked the ****s with the US and started to attack them is when things turned against him.

He's dead it won't change much but if it gives those families some peace who am I to grumble. I'd rather he was taken alive and Obamas speech got on my bits because it was all about him.

It kinda reminded me of this...

The US are not the knights in shining armour they believe themselves to be. There we agree and I have often said that their foreign policy causes more terror problems than it solves.

One thing I have learned though is that there is no truth in the belief that you can't take the Bin out on a bank holiday.

Which one have they allegedly killed? There's about 6 known versions of the mythical Osama Bin Laden, even a left-handed and a right-handed one, they think of everything!

Facial recognition, finger prints probably DNA all take seconds. Buried at sea is due to Islams need to be buried within 24hours as well as they don't want his grave becoming a shrine.

I don't understand why people are on Bin Laden's side - he was an evil person and is better dead.
No ones on Bin Ladens side, but some of us are not jumping for joy at his death because we know full well that this isnt the end of it and Al-Qaeda will retaliate and thousands more innocents will die yet.
