It isn't a wacky conspiracy theory to recognise that having a big bad bogeyman thought of as being alive, suited their purposes.

What concerns me now is why they have decided to 'kill' him off - what else have they got in store for us. We shall see.

I very much doubt they just flew some helicopters into a sovereign nation covertly and shot a few people in some random compound as part of some cover up/conspiracy.

You'd need to have quite an imagination and be rather naive of how the world works to believe that.

Ok, BUT if he is dead, then surely they would have got hard proof of his death, such as pictures, or hard dna evidence (which is unlikley)..burial at sea still seems a little off, they had time to kill him, and transport to the sea without getting the evidence before claiming his death.. untill then many will believe hes still alive, AND if he is dead, dont ya think it would cause more attacks on the US forces from upset supporters of Bin Laden? so im not so sure the US forces have done the right thing by announcing his death.

They've already announced they've taken dna samples.

The only thing unlikely about this is that he's not dead tbh... and chances of that being the case are extremely remote.

1556: The Obama officials, who have not been named, add that "DNA evidence has proven that Bin Laden is dead, with 99.9% confidence", according to AP. The officials did not immediately say where or how the testing was done.
