Osama bin Laden is dead - no graphic/violent images.

As someone pointed out in another forum, Obama did a great bit of trolling on Donald Trump, cutting off his Apprentice program 2 hours before he made a speech.

Osama wore a rag on his head, Osama was referred to by another poster as a 'raghead' - its not necessarily a nice term but then again neither are the beliefs of people who tend to wear rags on their heads.... get over it.

This is one of the funniest posts I've read on here for a while...

Muslims on the TV news this morning saying you can be buried at sea, if you die at sea and theres risk of disease or something.

Ahhh ok ive been corrected then somewhat...yes i suppose if you do die at sea then you can be buried there and then due to disease and the body rotting ie if your too far from land.

But seeing as Osama was supposedly killed on land ie in a house then theres absolutely no need to bury him at sea unless the Americans did that out of spite or to stop a shrine being built for him but it doesnt make a difference as the Al Qaeda members will build one if they so choose to.

You can also be buried at sea if it is thought the remains may be dug up by his enemies. Seeing as he was both loved and hated in the middle east and around the world, it's a valid point that can be argued, he was also buried within 24 hours so It is acceptable under Muslim rituals. His "religion" was complied with as much as can be expected, in fact I would say more so. For someone killed and captured by there enemies.
A shrine can be built, but is never as powerful as the resting place of the dead.

The sacred texts of Islam prefer burial on land, "so deep that its smell does not come out and the beasts of prey do not dig it out". However, if a person dies at sea and it is not possible to bring the body back to land before decay, burial at sea is allowed. A weight is tied to the feet of the body, and the body is lowered into the water. This would preferably occur in an area where the remains are not immediately eaten by scavengers.[3]

Is this correct?

I would imagine so as i stated in my above post about burial at sea...if someone dies at sea and land is not easy to get to ie within mins/hrs then burial at sea is permitted but if the person dies on land then there is no need to bury at sea as far as im aware.

Stop winging - its just derailing the thread tbh...

Negro means black in French, and similar words in other languages also mean black. Black people are black, and are referred to by some as *******, a corruption of negro. It's not necessarily a nice term, but then again I can't figure out how to finish this satire off. Get over it.

Its something to do with the area the slaves came from, the Niger river, or so my black supervisor at work tells me, not a corruption of the French word for black.
