EA deals on steam

Oh good god that sale spread covering the steam Store looks ugly as ****.

Can someone explain to me why i'd be paying £10 for DA Awakening but only £8 for the game itself? As for DA2... its at £13 on online retailers already. Not that it matters, i wouldn't buy it even if it was £2.49 never mind £22.49.

Wonder how much they'll do on Bulletstorm, probably not enough though. Game looked entertaining from the demo but the shear number of gay/penis/arse jokes got boring almost instantly. Not something i'd like to spend too much on.

Good point. I thought about getting Bulletstorm a few weeks ago but thought it was probably not a full priced game for me. I'll pick it up when i can get it for around £15 probably.

The ultimate edition can be had for £13 in the rainforest. Could you install the game on your pc and enter the cd key into steam for patches etc?

Yeah i might consider it when its around £10-15. Even then though i could probably just fire up Unreal Tournament 3: Black Edition and get a similar experience.

No, its not a steam compatible game. But if its on Steam for £12.49 why would you get it on amazon?

I think I'll wait for the DA games to be proper cheap. However, what other games do we think will be in this sale?

Proper cheap?

For the game and all the dlc on Xbox it cost my mate around £80 a few months ago.
£12.50 for the Ultimate edition and, as someone said, around 90 hours of content is brilliant mate.

I really should play through Dead Space... i think i got as far as installing it and never started it.

Saying that i bought Mirrors Edge 18 months ago and only just got around to playing it through completely (played it for about an hour and never went back to it). And Dead Space i bought in the '09 xmas sale ><

I know mate but like you I already bought all of that on 360 so I'd pay maybe £7.50 for the PC version. Same for DA2. Happy to wait :)

For that price, can't recommend Dragon Age Ultimate Edition enough.
For that price, can't recommend skipping Dragon Age 2 enough.

Was your mate a bit dim, you can get the ultimate edition on 360 for under £20

Ordered the normal edition from XBL for about £25 i think, then bought ALL the dlc seperately. LOL.
He did the same with Bad Company 2, bought it on XBL, then bought the multiplayer code, then the vietnam expansion. Ended up paying around £50:D(we told him)

It was a bit more than a few months ago actually, probsbly 6 months

Some people are like that though. It's convenient to just pay and download, they don't even check if they can get it cheaper. I wonder why XBL games are always dearer, because idiots like him will pay for it!

I am tempted to buy this but i have exams coming up and im still hooked on Borderlands and shogun total war. By this i mean the first one with all dlc.

How much of a DL is it?

Wait what? Wtf id he need to buy a multiplayer code for if he bought it off XBL? Wasn't that just to screw over second hand sales?
