Looks like they are now sorting the issues that they have made now they have been slapped on the wrist.

4.3.3 (4.3) is due in 2 weeks, some saying 7th other 14th May.

I've updated 4 times in one month already along with an iTunes. Starting to think of leaving the iphone game

I wouldn't mind so much if Apple invested in delta patches. I live in the sticks so even a minor upgrade is a 30 minute download for me!
Xcode takes this to the extreme. Each time they release a 0.0.1 update, you must download the entire 4.5GB again from the App Store. It's embarrassing.

600mb's takes forever off Apple to download.

I don't sync my phone often as it's gotten to the point i hate the effort i have to fight over getting what i want to work.

1 one month ie 28 days i've had 4 updates and now a 5th is due

It's a good time to switch to Android, bar a few select apps Android is a far better OS than iOS in its current form.

The Nexus S is a better phone than the iPhone 4 and the new Samsung Galaxy S II absolutely outclasses it. In fact, they both do, but the Galaxy S II is the tech powerhouse. Android 2.3 > iOS

I made the switch last month. :)

LOL Android. The problem with Android is it's Linux. And the problem with Linux is it's made by people who put user interfaces down at the bottom of the list. Any Android interface I've used reminded me what I hate so much about Linux. The interfaces. The inconsistency in interface design. The poor design of the interface layout...

It's something Ubuntu is trying to fix with Unity and all Linux users are doing is bitching about it.

I like my Linux how I like my servers. Stripped down to the bare essentials and running only the applications they have to. When you start putting user interfaces on top of them, they look like ass, someone thinks they can do better and 18 forks appear all with variations in how you install it but no improvement on the ****ING USER INTERFACE DESIGN!

Well i'm going to stick with the iPhone 4 till the 5 comes as my contract is then due to be upgraded. I've had 3, 3Gs and 4 and it's the debut of the 4 where all my problems have started

Indeed. I'd be using Linux on the desktop instead of OS X if then general standard of UI weren't fundamentally bad.

Distros like Ubuntu can't bring the change alone, the people creating day-to-day apps also need to sort it out.

The Op is complaining about too many updates with iOS but with a Samsung Android device I can guarantee he would be complaining about Kies and the lack of updates. I had my originaly Galaxy S for months and Samsung support were absolutely shocking getting working updates out of the door. Many missed promises later I moved over to the iPhone 4. Never looked back as I'd rather have too many updates than none at all.

People whinging about buying a new phone just because of a few updates is ridiculous. You're not forced to download, just defer it until you have the time to update, its not like you need to do anything other than plug the phone in and wait for 30mins or so - the time you'd easily spend at your computer doing whatever you do anyway. I agree bug fixes should be smaller, but it hardly bothers me.

Technical specs alone don't make a phone great. Build quality, UI, manufacturer support, applications and the seamless integration with other (apple) devices is much more imortant. Something the iphone hasnt been beaten on yet....

Well that's me convinced.

LOL yup im gonna ditch my iphone4 and BB because of Margarets superb little sermon there about Android;):p.....

Nah still not in the slightest bit interested in anything Android:p

Will this do?
