Red Faction Armageddon - March 2011

Don't know what to make of this trailer. Doesn't look anything special. Just another game with guns and enemies.

Hopefully E3 has some gameplay walkthroughs.

I still have fond memories of the fist game on the PS2.

I'm pretty sure there will be humans in the game for you to take your sweet anger out on.

Demo is meh. Magnet gun is kinda fun, but I miss the openness of Guerrilla.

Too dark as well, guess its too sunny out atm, but the confined space doesn't feel right.

I agree with everything you've said there. The graphics, I read, were supposed to be incredibly beautiful. But they look like something Xbox 1 could do.

Unless there's going to be some huge caverns packed with all manner of constructed buildings and stuff it's going to look very bland.

Thats quite the big bumpup.

Still, need to watch some gameplay before I make a decision to buy the game. Not on my list of wanted games at the moment, but could be.

Would be cool if it was outside like that all the time.

But most of the actual gameplay, not challenge modes, seem to be underground.

Isn't that the challenge modes though and not the main campaign? Red faction is not the same being confined to the restricted underground.

I actually enjoyed the demo. I'll get this at some point but not on release as it comes out around the same time as Infamous 2.
