What's the difference between banned and suspended? Is banned permanent? Or for a longer period? Hope not, I enjoy his posts. No homo.

Banned is pretty much permanent. It is sometimes possible to claw yourself back from a ban, by loading the dons up with hot cross buns and tea, but you have to apologise like your life depends on it.

A thread were the dons posted banned people and the reasons for the punishments would help people understand the rules more (and provide us with gossip!).

Yeah I think that would be good Forde, then they we can discuss what went wrong and if it turns in to an argument mods can just tidy it up.

I don't like it that people just disappear from the forums without an explanation. The mods are pretty heavy handed here, and rightly so I think, it works well. I'd just like to know...

You get the banned status when a mod forgets to change it to suspended. The suspension is usually between 2 days and a month. If it's much more than that you just get perma'd.

Not true. I was 'banned' on the 2nd for posting an inappropriate picture of Osama, but it was only for one day. No begging needed!
