When you're stuck in bed so ill you can't get up (like I am now) it's nice to know that there's someone coming home soon to look after you
or if you die at home your body wont be undiscovered for weeks and only be found when the neighbours complain of the stench

To be fair though, there is a balance to be struck.
Having too many friends would be hellish, does not sound at all appealing to be sucked into something in all my spare time.

At least you will die quicker being alone
But in reality it's a bit of a double edge sword for me.
I go out with 4 different groups of people, so normally out at least 4 times a week. So it's often nice to have a day or 2 to myself, but permanently no thanks.
