Is there really a high level in the UK water system from the pill. I drink **** loads of water like 6 pints a day or more. I was wondering what sort of impact this can have and how to avoid it. I have heard FILTERED tap water and bottled water. However these are expensive solutions

Troll feeding time is it?

Actually, I can't feed the troll, I have a sudden urge to go for a pedicure and watch Sex in the City...

Eh? They don't put Hormones in drinking water !!

"They" don't, but a few million women peeing out what's left of their contraceptive pill does apparently add significantly to the levels in our water; which isn't filtered out (can't be filtered out?) during processing. It's affecting the marine life too iirc. I'm going to go and read up on it again. :)

the drugs you take about 10% gets used by the body the rest (90%) gets peed out into the sewers which then get recycled/cleaned then put back into drinking water, but they cant get rid of all the drugs in the water when trying to clean it.

Finally someone who has a clue. I am looking at a reverse osmosis purification filter system for my tap water lol

Apparently the conspiracy theory is *dons foil hat* is that the pharmaceutical companies are loving this.

People are naturally pumping female hormone into the drinking water. While the latter develop and rake millions from impotency pills.
