You forget a lot of the people raging probably haven't been outside in a while so the sun might quite scary initially. Just remember your Factor 50 suncream for those pale bodies

It's not really free though. You have to buy the console and the games to access it, they're not providing the service out of the goodness of their hearts.

Not really. Why would you want to sell your console because you cant play online for a few weeks? If you really love playing games so much that would be a stupid thing to do...its overreacting to the extreme.

And plus going outside in the SUN will give you your vitamin D peeps, dont want all your bones bending and breaking after all the weight you have all amassed sitting indoors in front of the tele.
