I think my estranged wife may be selling my belongings on Ebay

I split with my wife a while back and have no contact with her, but I do have contact with my children.

Question is:

Is there a way to find out what she has sold on Ebay?

I had a brand new pressure washer which I asked my kids to get for me and it has mysteriously disappeared. This is kind of worrying as I also have a few items I want back such as my brand new mountain bike. I expected to get these back through the divorce settlement.

I really want to find out what she has sold on Ebay, but I don't even know her user name as there are indications she set an account up after we split.

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

I'd say seek proper legal advice rather than a computer forum. Unless we have any lawyers on here...

Sound like a nasty situation to be in though.

*grabs popcorn*

Look for the items that you want, e.g. the washer? There can't be that many of your type which is second hand and looks like it doesn't have a pro listing.

My girlfriend sold a few of her ex's things on ebay to raise some cash, she did alright out of it.

Unfortunately theres nothing you can do if you dont have possession of the stuff, its her word against yours as to who it belonged to, as you probably know you could go back and forward for months and never get anywhere as you do with other things relating to a divorce.

As already said you need to get your solicitor involved and get anything back from the house thats yours and it sounds like you need to do it sooner rather than later.

Anyway must dash gotta wash the car with my new pressure washer I got off eBay :-)

Why do you care what she has sold on Ebay? Is the divorce finalised or - and I'm guessing no to this - not?

Presumably because she is offloading productions that he has bought and spending the cash before the divorce settlement. A little iffy to say the least.

Word for word, that was what I going to type before I posted what I did.

Welp, no, you've ruined it. We do but he doesn't need their help unless he's prepared to divulge a frankly staggering amount of backstory.

And now we're friends again :)

Have you asked her?

I haven't spoken to her for 2 years and never want to again. My kids say that my wife has no idea where my pressure washer went. (Still in the box it was)

Also, she could have sold my things anytime in the last 2 years that I haven't been living with her.

If I had evidence such as an Ebay listing, I think I could go to my Lawyer and get her to stop selling my stuff.

I missed this. Where does it say that?

He said he expected to get them back through the divorce settlement insinuating that it hasnt gone through yet hense why he is concerned she is getting rid of them. He stated that he had a bike which was his property.

You don't need evidence of any eBay listings, it would prove things but it's not necessary, there's other places to sell stuff other then eBay, you just need the receipts of the items you purchased to prove that they were legitimately yours. But even then, it doesn't really work like that. She may be entitled to "some" of it depending on your settlement. Family law requires a lot of mediation and it's really not something that can be discussed in a internet forum as there are no set of legally binding precedents to follow and a lot of cases are treated on an individual basis.
