DLL error sony vegas 9

Im getting this error when I try to open sony vegas pro 9 , I have downloaded the dll and put it into the twain file also the system file , and its still not working anyone know what I can do?

You've downloaded it, but have you registered it? And did you put it in System, System32 or SysWOW64?

It was a trial , i have the serial key but I couldnt start the program to activate it, seems as tho tuneup utillities had blocked some service that I needed to start the program I had to manually restart the services , and now its fixed , sorry to waste your times
