Desk lamp recomendations

Has anyone got any recommendations for a desk lamp. Preferably to go with a blue, black, and sliver colour scheme.

lol I didn't mean recommend a massive list, that's what I want to avoid, I want lamps people know are good.

well I got a zippo desk lamp....you can alter the brightness slighty between normal and bright. But its metal and the top gets v hot touched my forehead on it and it remove skin...lol

ive got one from tesco, has 3 bendy branches each with a bulb on the end. the colour from it is really warming and not harsh on your eyes. I'll find it

cant find it, its kinda like http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.207-9438.aspx but less "fancy"

I'd love a Z-Bar or Beacon LED desk lamp, they're expensive but look great.

I really like the vintage old style kind of ones with a a green glass.

B+Q have them as "Bankers Lamps"

Yeah I knew what you meant straight away. I like them but with my setup, it wouldn't look very good

Don't get it, it's rubbish. The strength of the top bit just isn't there and results in the lamp bit (where the bulb lives) just falling down onto itself.

Surely if you're in a restaurant and the waiter says "be careful, the plates are very hot", you touch it? - It's the same thing. But then again, I regularly taste the womans showergel and stuff because it smells like it should be yummy so perhaps I'm a bit of a durpydurpdurp.
