Ok, so basically, I want to move the save location for my email accounts (where it stores the emails, rather than the calendar, tasks etc), from my C drive (SSD), onto my D drive (HDD). I've found how you move the default outlook pst file, however I can't seem to find anything that says how I can change the location of the email account pst files.

It seems to be possible to decide where to store the emails when creating a new POP3 account, however it doesn't give that option if trying with an IMAP account.

Anyone have any idea?

If I remember correctly, you can only specify this when you add the email account, so I think you'll have to delete the accounts and set them up again pointing to the new PST.

Can't do it for IMAP unfortunately, long standing complaint with Outlook. You could trick it by using junctions I expect.

Tried that, but the option disapears as soon as you choose IMAP, rather than POP3.

I've heard of this before, but not familiar with it. Do you know of anywhere that explains it well/says how to do it?

Have you tried moving the now-created PST, then reloading Outlook. It 'should' complain that it can't find it... then it'll open up a window asking to browse to it?

I think I've done this with POP accounts back on Outlook 2007... give it a go!

Already thought about that, but rather than asking where the file went, it just creates a new one!
