EA deals on steam

i usually approach RPG's with the tactic of improving diplomacy/bartering type skills most of all, but in ME especially i found it much better to concetrate a bit more on the combat because let's face it, it's not the best if you don't improve your skills.
I think i concentrate on these skills normally because i don't like the idea of missing out on dialogue options. Like in the Fallout games, i end up talking a lot, but being killed very easily by some mole-rats because my small weapons skill is about 20:p

Are you the only person in existence who actually puts more than 1 point in Charisma in Fallout 3? :p

Problem with MEs skill system is it puts skills automatically into Paragon/Renegade when you reach certain thresholds in the meter. Which means i always put zero points into it myself going by the theory that if i play through 4 times I'll have maxed it without having to spend points on it... of course since i only played through a character more than once on 1 occasion (i think) that theory falls flat and i miss some of the bigger dialogues :(

I just used the naughty nightwear (+10 speech) that I found quite early on and then increased my small guns asap :D.

ME is very much like KOTOR for me (knights of the old republic for those that don't have a clue what I just typed :P). On both games I absolutely hated them at the start and didn't see what the hype was about, finding them very boring with rubbish combat. Gave it a chance though and kept at it and found both of them to be some of the best games I've ever played. The story on ME is almost like playing the main role in a hollywood movie at times with some seriously intense scenes.

I was put off ME2 due to the price, but at £9.99 I can't argue with that to be fair and it'll be a great time sink for me after my exams (plus a nice reward for actually revising lol)

Just watched the ME2 trailer after having some doubts about it - still pricey?

Goosebumps. That is all. :D

It's not that it's pricey. It is well worth £10, it's just that there isn't a version that comes with the dlc which if you want to buy that will cost about another £20.
The problem is that there is almost certainly a GOTY edition around the corner.

i never thought i would like it.....but as a lot of people have said it is one EPIC, pretty looking game....for £2.50 you would be nuts not too!

Quick pic i took......detail on the characters is just amazing for what is now a pretty old game.....bioware i salute you!

Anyone buying/bought Mass Effect, don't forget you can download the dlc Bring Down The Sky for free:)

It is a good missions which will take you around an hour and a half.

Sorry, i can't remember where i got it from but someone will know:)

Probably Bioware store. I seem to remember inputting my cd key from steam

Tried it and it doesn't accept my CD key :(

I did it about 2 months ago, as i was half way through the game and suddenly remembered "wasn't there some dlc for this"lol.

I think i had problems with my key at first, nothing ever works first time for me where Bioware/EA are concerned. Are you sure you've got the right code and everything?
