As per a previous thread which i started yesterday, i have just installed an Antec Kuhler 620, so i have been trying to OC my cpu again.

I have a Phenom ii x4 965 be overclocked to 4.2 and after nearly 2 hours of prime now i have hit 60 degrees. Should i be worried?
Also, i would appreciate it if someone could take a look at this just to see if they think everything is ok?

Thanks a lot guys:)

that's what i was worried about mate. I didn't like it when i got to 60 after about 20 minutes!
It seems to have settled now though

It shouldn't get this high gaming anyway

Would love to push my cpu but no matter what I do I cannot get my Bus Speed to go above 210 without my motherboard hissy fitting same with multiplier above 19. Dam buggy motherboard.

NZXT Phantom is the case.
Airflow isn't that great atm to be honest.

1 front intake
1 top exhaust
and 1 side intake.
Plus the Kuhler exhausting out the back

I am now thinking that airflow might be a problem. I currently have the fans on my Kuhler pulling air from inside to outside, but also have a 200mm exhaust just above where it's pulling air from.
I might try using the top 200mm fan as an intake so that it blows air down into the case. This would mean that the pull fan on the Kuhler is the only exhaust though. What do you think? good idea or not?
Also, i could get a 200mm fan to put on the side so that it blows air directly on to the cpu. I only have one 200mm atm though.
Thoughts?

You have the best deneb core I've ever seen.

This +1, 4.2Ghz with only 1.476Vcore and reading your cpu temps from the TMPIN0 not the core, 57oC, you have a very very good little chip there, my 955 needs 1.55V for anything over 4Ghz

what fans are you using on that cooler? stock? you might see better temps with some better fans in push 'n' pull ;)

ATM i am using the stock fan and an Apache but i do have another Apache somewhere which i will use. The stock fan is incredibly loud and can not be controlled so i am planning to connect the Kuhler to the Power header and use a splitter and have the Apaches on the cpu header:)

I thought 1 was cpu. well temp-wise during prime, which i had on for around 4-5 hours earlier it went up to around 35/37. Idle it is about 30 with fans on low and it gets down to about 26 when completely idle and fans on high (the fan controller built in to the Phantom is great;))

I imagine temps will improve once i get some more airflow in the case. atm i have the the apache pulling air into the rad from inside the case, but i only hace one intake fan at the front bottom.

lol yes you read wrong, 0 is cpu 1 is motherboard

motherboard temps dont really fluctuate like a cpu does heres my HWmonitor:

Pighardia, your Mobo went upto 37? are you running crossfire? what motherboard do you use, my mobo used to peak at 40 running crossfire ( 2nd pcie slot ran off the northbridge so i've read )
