hi
ok, got my new cpu cooler, ram and all running at full speed.
now for GPU, i cannot afford to upgrade all
just need a decent GPU for playing MW2, BFBC2, AS2, and maybe a few new ones. dont need to be 100% maxed out. as long as i can get a decent fps.
needs to be able to run on a 2 year old ASUS 400w

around £80 including p+p would be ideal

thanks

*Edit* just noticed the PSU, may be an issue :(

its mainly the PSU that i am asking about, think i may be limited to the £77 5750...... any advice? cant afford new PSU, student paper rounds dont pay enough....

The ATI 5830 on offer for £72 springs to mind.

What resoloution are you going to be playing at?

at £71 i know it is a bargin, but PSU wise..... comparison between my X1950pro (PCI-E x16) and the 5750 for £77 (soppose it does include MW2, which i am planning on buying anyway later this summer)?

currently using 1024 x 768, but want to move to HDMI (currently on VGA), no DVI connection on my TV/ monitor

One of my friends is running a superclocked 570 with a 9800GTX as a PhysX card, with an overclocked i5 2500K and lots of HDDs on a 520w Corsair PSU, and after measuring it at the wall, it's drawing nowhere near that.

Most graphics cards will play anything you throw at it at that resolution though, so I doubt you'll be missing out if you don't want to chance the 5830.
