bought beowolf today as i saw it in hmv whilst in there for £4 on bluray!

looking at others on imdb atm then going to puchase them

Chronicles of Narnia is of the same ilk......... of course CS Lewis and Tolkein were good friends as well.

Saw the new film a few weeks ago on a flight to the US, really quite good.

Game of Thrones is quality. If you like the LOTR films you'll like Game of Thrones. There aren't many decent fantasy films though. Willow is actually one of the best, though try also The Princess Bride, don't be put off by the title, it's one of the funniest and brilliant fantasy films made.

2) Two Hobbits fishing
3) Forging of the Elvin rings!!

Buy, yeah, LOTR kinda set the standard. The work that went into those movies still blows my mind......I love the way they actually built so much stuff and didn't rely on CGI. Guys hand-crafting things that are seen for 2 seconds in the movie. Astounding.
