Crysis, worth £2.50?

i dont know how much crysis wars costs, or if you want it, but if its more than £7.50, and you do want to do the multiplayer, then i would suggest getting crysis maximum edition (crysis, crysis warhead and crysis wars) from a well known game etailer for £16.

if you dont want the multiplayer, then what your looking at is a steal

If you buy Crysis + Warhead you get Crysis Wars free on Steam - doesn't matter whether you buy the "complete" package or not.

what the hell. You spend all that money on a super computer and ask if spending £2.50 on a game that pushed pc gaming to new heights is worth it?
All what money, this system is a good fews years old now iirc. Its hardly top end. Its only worth a few hundred as it is. :p

I will give a counter argument.
It has a 5 machine activation limit, after 5 installs you need to contact ea support and request additional activations otherwise your game wont install.

Do you really want to support something like this ?

Crysis 1 doesn't have that

Yes it does check the steam page, there isn't even a revoke tool with Crysis.
Crysis warhead is the same but it comes with a revoke tool.

What the problem with that?

Who the hell needs to do 5 installs anyway?

At £2.50 it isn't something that bothers me. Never reintall things on my Steam HDD anyway and by the time I do I will have to many to come back to it anyway.

Given enough time I would say lots of people.
Not everyone has only 1 pc they would game on, if you upgrade and change your motherboard it would need a reinstall, not everyone likes to keep the same install of windows for years on end, what if you get a virus ?

Fair point if it doesn't bother you as it is only £2.50 like you say.
I don't delete my steam partition either when I reinstall, but I dont think its a download limit from steam, but when you click play for the first time after a reinstall it would authenticate from ea servers before setting up the dx files and registry settings.

Weird, the non steam one certainly doesn't, because I remember a big uproar when they added it to Warhead.
