Why do they need to rush a CoD game? If they took their time, wrote a well coded game and listened to the fans then surely their revenues and profits will increase?

That isn't activision's style, they milk their franchises silly then shut the studio down when we get bored of it.

Welcome to the console generation.

I own consoles but you can see how devs/studios/publishers love to easily throw out the same crap year in year out 'cos the "OMG COD78 is outz L337!" console brigade lap it up.

Thank **** for BF3 this year. Activision can go blow a goat if they think I'll be emptying my pockets in their direction this year.

mw1 was excellent, the first 2 cod games were also incredible imo. (the russia campaign in cod2 was amazing imo)

Everything else is just a steaming pile of horse penis.

I still play CoD2 most days with old mates from teams I used to play in, it never gets old.

Original CoD and UO were also epic.

It struck me yesterday, whilst watching a trailer for the new zombie dlc for BLOPS, that adding Zombies to a COD game, was an absolute travesty of a descion!

I'm probably in the minority in this thread and say I'll probably get this

If people hate the COD franchise so much, why bother taking the time out to look in this thread and post? You'll probably check out the trailer and read all articles on the web on MW3. Even worse, you will probably end up buying it and the DLC's

Sure, COD is arcade-ish compared to Battlefield but is still a good shooter in its own right. Not everyone wants to get lost in a map and play Battlefield when they have 30mins to spare or something.

I'll probably get it on one of the consoles unless it has a subscription to pay like they said it would
