I hope this works out for you.
I know plenty of girls who are given everything they want just like this. Bump there car, or write it off & parents pay etc. I cant think of a single one of them who have ended up being able to stand on their own 2 feet. IMO the value of money is one of the most important lessons people need to learn.

I dont think this post matters, you are going to do what she wants you to do regardless of what is said on here...

I dont care what happens to the shop, i bought it outright with 2 falts above to provide an income.

But none of that matters because she is like me, wicked and she will succeed :)

So you've bought the property, quick question, how much would you charge for the flats above /pm. Just wanting to see what the rental income is like where you are.

See i know people who have been helped a lot by their parents and have really excelled as a result of it - i also know people who have been given all the help and money in the world and they just spend it and come back for more.

Whatever the situation, DM's daughter - just remember what you're dad's done for you and repay in kind in the future (ie. by putting him in a nice old people's home). ;)

One flat is 900 quid a month the other is a grand.

Even if you had it on a mortgage the shop would be free and a couple quid profit.

Once my son comes out the nick for hitting that bloke with a golf club and my daughters settled im gone, deck chair in Spain.

Hey all, my dad is the best i cannot believe he got me that shop:):):)

I understand that you want to give your kids everything. But buying them a new car when they already have one which is really nice just seems ludicrous to me. Added to the fact that you're going to end up buying a CLK, because it's what she wants, when you know that it isn't the car to buy for the money.

You can, about 5 minutes after you start doing it. Cannot imagine anything more boring.

You’re obviously doing it wrong, one day you'll learn how to relax. Till then enjoy yourself by running around like a blue arsed fly. :)

Now were we, ah yes, DM get her what she wants, she's got to be fashionable.
