Would you actually see an increase in performance if you had an higher FSB?

My i5 is currently at 4ghz (200x20), now would I notice any difference if I ran it at 400x10?

Ah, so it's actually impossible? Didn't know that! :p

Was just generally asking as last time I read into proper OC'ing was with the C2D's. :D

Not a chance. I think the most a 1156 rig will do is 210-220 bclk.

this.
but doesn't a higher fsb, if its linked to your ram, let you overclock your ram?
i have a similar question about higher fsb. (if OP doesn't mind)
i have a Q6600 @ 3.4ghz
so is 425mhz x 8 faster than 377mhz x 9?

it'll give you the same cpu clock speed, but at 425x8 the rest of the system is running faster as well... so technically 'yes' but if it's actually noticable is another question...
