****The Nintendo 3DS Thread****

This thing has dropped down to all of £174.99 on a certain site now. Tempting but it does make you think it isn't selling all that well.

There's not much worth playing at the moment, I picked up mine with Pilotwings, have borrowed and played a bit of ridge racer and ssfvi but not found them very interesting, I don't regret buying it as at the end of the day I want a Nintendo handheld for all the usual big N exclusives but I guess I didn't need to rush out and buy it on release.

Partially due to the Easter Sale's, most consoles have been price dropped over the past few weeks. The original RRP was way overpriced anyway.

Some of the game have also came down in price, tempted to pick one up but I've got my exams to get through, don’t know if I can be trusted with one till there over :D

Nintendo Greece has apparently decided that selling its customers a renovated, three-dimensional version of the best game ever made isn't a sweet enough treat. The official Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D page on Nintendo.gr has revealed that folks who pre-order the game through Nintendo will receive a plethora of bonuses, including a keychain, baseball cap, 3DS cover, an actual ocarina and -- get this -- a canister of Deku tree seeds. (We hear that if you plant them, actual sentient shrubs come out of the ground.)

No pre-order bonuses for the U.S. have been announced, but needless to say, the bar's been set pretty high. If we don't get a pouch of replica rupees, or at the very least, a remote-controlled Bombchu, we're going to be extremely disappointed.

WANT.

It's my most played 3ds game by some margin. It's very long too and will tide you over nicely until OoT. That is if you can stand the turn based gameplay!

It is a fantastic game, not quite up with Advance Wars but easily justified my day one purchase.

Why do you not like turn based strategy games? It's a great example of one but if you really just want simple action/fps games then no matter how good of an example it is you probably won't like it.

It's pretty hard too but I have been going through on the hardest difficulty.

I just don't think I'd have the patience for one. The only types of strategy games I've ever enjoyed have been the Command & Conquer and the Company of Heroes series'. I might give it a go, but with Zelda out soon I'm not sure, I'm not exactly flush with cash.

I wouldn't buy it just to have another game, get the DS Zelda's or indeed pokemon if you want some long games to fill the time.

Got my Brand new 3DS the other day, seems all good so far!

Only problem Is I've completed all challenges on full stars on pilotwings and no other games are out I really want until Zelda is released, Want Pokemon but I can't afford that until I sell Pilotwings.

You guys should check out Dream Trigger 3D.

No idea if it'll be great but IGN seemed to like the preview and it comes out tomorrow I think.
