HTC Incredible S - What should I do?

It is pretty much the best single core handset. Pretty much the best phone to have come out in the last 12 months before latest dual core lot.

So you think the Desire HD is better overall than the Incredible S and the Xperia arc?

The Incredible S and the Desire HD have the same hardware, the only difference is the Incredible has a slightly better screen and a front facing camera, pretty sure the arc has pretty much the same hardware too.

The Incredible S screen is slightly smaller, but its also better quality. Screen size is subjective so it could work for or against the phone, depending on the person.

Everything else about it is equal, and a few things are worse (build quality, battery life, no front camera).

The arc does not have 'pretty much the same hardware' either. Not at all. :p

The OP has gone from getting the Incredible S, which is the best HTC Android phone currently available for another two weeks (so on the brink of going out of date), to getting an even worse phone.

Nothing more needs to be said really.

It has the same chipset as far as I'm aware, so the processor and GPU are the same, which is what I meant. The performance of the arc and DHD will be very similar, though I don't think the arc has as much RAM or internal storage for apps.

OP fail :(

I had a Desire HD for a few weeks and didn't really like it. Screen was poor, battery life was poor and didn't much like the build either.

It has exactly the same chipset, in fact, but much less ram.

Arc 512, Desire HD 768.

And less internal storage as standard.

The camera on the arc is leagues ahead of the Desire HD camera, and the screen is a 'Bravia engine' screen and they really do look better than normal LCD ones.

The OP needs to cancel his contract and wait until May 19th for the Sensation (as it is the phone he wants), hopefully that will have a better camera too, though I wouldn't be counting on it :(
