Spec me: Vietnam war books

Just reading a (fictional) book called Matterhorn about US Marines in combat in Vietnam. Can anybody recommend any other books of a similar ilk?

I remember having a huge book with various interviews from both sides. It was a great read.

Obviously non-fiction but still a great read.

Platoon screenplay :/ i read that was quite good but obviously the movie is such a classic its hard to not be bias by it.

i read a few books by a guy called Eric Helm, when i was much younger. I don't remember them being awesome but they covered some interesting stuff.

Its a Book Called Nam. Made up of five or six people telling their own experiences of being called up etc. Very thought provoking including the memories of the young nurse.

One of my all time favourite war books. This man was a hero of unbelievable character and bravery.
