TriXX OC Utility V4.0.1 ... is out

Ta very much for that just pushed my 5850 past the 775/1125 limits imposed by Afterburner and CCC awesome little app :D

yes it can, here is my new settings :

920 for core clock

1150 for Memory clock

& 1149 for GPU Voltage

i dont know if these settings are any good for my hd 5850 extreme ? any advice ? i just copied these from some spanish forum.

Looks good. But just a reminder than some games don't like the 5850 memory clock at above 1100MHz, so if you are getting crashes and problem that you think might not be related to the core clock, you should try dropping the memory clock down to 1100MHz.

no crashes so far. It seems my oc limit for memory is 1250. It sits quite comfortably at 1200 with no artifacts/crashes at any volt. I've jut put mine back to 900/1200 @ 1.18 for now.

That's only a case with dodgy Twin Frozr II cards from MSI. Tested on 4 different 5850's.

The reference models do anywhere from 1150 to 1300 stable.

Pushing the memory has a little effect on the performance in games, though.

My reference Sapphire does 945MHz on core with just 1.17v, it is cooled down to 50-55c but I have the Zalman VF3000 fans set to the lowest level so I don't have to hear it at all.

here is my stable OC settings:

900 for core clock

1150 for Memory clock

1.181 for GPU Voltage

i have also set the fan to manual:
(50c=55% 55c=60% 60c=65% 65c=70% 70c=85% 75c=90% 80c=100%)

How do you tell it which card to overclock? It's trying to overclock my Asus one I think.

If you've got more than one card, overclock them separately, one at a time. Find their max overclocks and use the lower one for both as they will run at the lower speed anyway.

It does allow them to run independant clocks, but how to I tell TriXX to overclock my Sapphire card, not the Asus - it doesn't let me switch between the two. The Asus utility can overclock both, but can't adjust the Sapphire's voltage.
