Treat & Reward new tattoos to be done

Love the tattoo elitism in this thread!

A tattoo on your arm is most definitely macho, but one on your foot means you suddenly become homosexual (not that there's anything wrong with that - each to his own)! It doesn't look any different to any tribal/inca type design, anyway.
 
Cos females 99% time have there feet showing! When i was in oz there were lots of blokes.

I have a big arrow and %$£"!*** this hurt along with date on my shin. Not wanting the same on my foot, want to cover the scare so i can never be remined

That's fair enough, but saying you have 'got into wearing flip-flops and bare-feet' makes you sound like one of those hipster types that walk down the street in flip-flops or bear-feet because it's 'trendy'.

Fireworks display for my mates wedding. A big cake we had set the fuse and ran to safe distance, it never went off so we left it and carried on with the rest. Once the show was over i went and pushed it over downrange incase it went off with my foot and it went boom whole thing went up and split my foot in half pretty much.

Id never go out in bare-feet, around home im bare-feet. I aint no hippy. I wear flipflops as its been so hot and im ether in jeans or shorts. Trendy surfer look as i do surf

Thaks, taken way to long but it's done, i can now run properly without problems which is great as i've kids to chase!

I love fireworks but i'll never use my feet or my self, big long stick. It had sat there for ten mins
 
Not gay but not a nice design either.
How do you manage to walk, ride and lift weights with no feeling in your foot?

I've had AFO's most of the time to hold it's shape and so i could get about. I couldn't walk like normaly people, i found a way as my foot couldnt bend. I'd do as many free weights sat down. Last 2 years i've had more movement and freedome with it due to a new op i had. Running i had a spingy AFO as running was part of my physio
 
Congrats on the recovery, it sounds like you've had a hell of a time. If you like the tattoo and the artist thinks your foot will 'take' it then fair play to you. It's your skin, and if we all had the same tastes life'd be pretty boring. Ink is a very personal and subjective thing; so long as it means something to you - well, you're the one wearing it. Good luck with your continued recovery. :)
 
Can't you have something like a terminator's foot, with the skin ripped open to reveal the hydraulic stuff underneath - like that spiderman tat image that I guess everyone has seen? That would be cool and also relevant.
 
I could but i've seen the real deal of whats inside me enough times not to wanting as a perma thing. Whilest walking along and you foot all of a sudden splits open is not nice
 
i'm ever so curious as to what happened to your foot! please do us the honour of explaining! :)
