After doing some testing with stock game and juls mod i find that the stock game is to be blend and not that to drive but in the recent patch the controller input is much better and almost sync to your wheel movement.

Once i installed the juls mod the game become much more fun to drive, there is plenty of grid compared and the feel for the car is much much much better but i would go with whatever the final decision is with stock game or latest patch with juls mod

Also to compare the laptime with stock and juls mod,

Stock game - 51.1
Patch with Juls Mod - 49.9

Oh and just in case, it's works converted. No running wide on turn 1 either!

I was trying that out yesterday but got bored of the game on my first try, are you using juls mod if so what times are you doing with non patched version?

I'm patched and modded, I reinstalled the patch which hopefully got rid of the mod then I tried it and it just felt rubbish again so I put it back on.

Time so far is 50:708.

, could be down to setup because i always go for a good setup before i even think of making a good time.

Just re-applied the juls minimod and knocked a second off first go, now for some tuning to see if i can compete with the rest of you...

Merlin5 check in your steam folder steam/steamapps/common/needforspeedshift2. look at the properties of the SHIFT2U.exe and check the details tab.

Mr F, is your car works converted? how come it has a different performance index?

It's fully works converted, last time i looked it was the same performance as the rest.

Managed to find some more time with some setup tweaks.

Maybe (although I havent tested) it's due to doing a works conversion with or without an engine swap.

Well I didn't do an engine swap so will have to see what Mr F says? You'd think all the Works should be the same though!

I did an engine swap first then bought all the engine upgrade once i did that.
