Yawn. Similar topics have been done to death recently, I can't believe this keeps cropping up and even more so that the same characters participate!

why do you keep changing the question. If you are going to discuss Jesus as being gods son, from the. Christian point of view. Then you need to use the bible. Not your own believes. You keep changing the question and goal posts and wonder why everyone is against you.
I never stated that the Bible is 100% accurate, especially NOT about Jesus.
I dont need to take anything of what the Bible says as a fact to discuss either God or Jesus.

I enjoyed that docu when it first aired. I don't particularly recall it proving how much suckage anything was though. I'll have to re-watch it when I get home (I'm sad enough to be following this thread on my mobile in a shop car park![]()
).
You know, I was genuinely surprised in one of the science threads that we had recently at how intelligent bhavv appeared. Clearly once you get him off his specialist subject he turns back into a gibbering, beliggerent so and so.
What does It actually state in creationism. I very much doubt it states what you think it does.
It says the universe was around before the making of the earth and life. It also does not say created in one day.
Having watched it all, it does nothing but confirm to me that everything that this universe contains, every bit of matter, every single element and atom, every law of science and maths, absolutely everything that exists cant have simply have been magically invented by a supernatural sky daddy as most monotheistic religions, particularly Christianity believes was the case.
Points to note that the Bible is so massively flawed in anything and everything that it states on the subject of creationism, I have a very hard time believing that with the immense level of inaccuracy in biblical creationism, that the fundamental idea that everything that exists throughout the universe today was simply created by a magical creator called God.
Religion is not a specialist subject anyway, it is simply fairy tales for adults. There is absolutely no knowledge, or anything of intellectual worth to be found within the complete joke of any religious text or myth.
How anyone can blindly believe in a book that was written around 2000 years ago, and still believe that it is still in any way valid or relevant compared to all the understanding and knowledge we have today simply infuriates me.
And just because we dont have a definite answer on some things, doesnt mean that God must have done it, or that it must be caused by spirits and souls, and that there is no alternative or that any of these myths and fairy tales are in any way true.
you guys will need this before long.... trust me

I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that 'discussion' with Bhavv is a waste of my day. Anyone who can gladly and loudly admit... no... proclaim that they are ignorant of a topic, can't be bothered reading or learning about it, but that they want to spend hours and hours trolling others about it just isn't worth the time. This is the very definition of trolling, and screams ignorance.
To lose point after point in a discussion and having to fall back to admitting you know nothing about which you speak, and THEN proceed to say it's all rubbish anyway is incredibly juvenile and weak-minded. I see no point in continuing. If someone genuinely wishes to discuss anything of this nature I'm always up for that, as I find it interesting. To waste my life talking in circles with a self-confessed ignoramus gets both of us precisely nowhere.

Because reading the bible really makes a person more intelligent than someone who hasnt read it, yea right.

The Bible states that the Universe was made in 7 days, light and plants were made before the sun, a lot of Christians believe that the earth is only around 6000 years old, which I can only assume comes from biblical belief if so many people believe it, the Bible also indicates that the Earth is flat by saying that it has 4 corners and can fully be viewed from a single mountaintop, and it also states that Bats are birds.
And it says that witches are real and evil, oh noes!
And dinosaurs never existed, or if they did then it was for far less than a few days.
It also doesnt take much effort to see how most average Christians are also so strongly opposed to Evolution, the scientific estimate on the age of the Earth, to the Big bang theory and maybe even the thought of an ever expanding universe.
Because reading the bible really makes a person more intelligent than someone who hasnt read it, yea right.
Except that heathers are an observable object that can be studied and examined.
God isnt. Religion is simply opinion and personal belief, not fact or knowledge.
