I am thinking

Mount & Blade : Fire & Sword (Heard there is a lot of people online)
Dino D Day (is there many players online for it????)
DeadSpace (very cheap and looks good)

this lot adds up to about 28 quid , if you can think of other's i should get go ahead and suggest them.

Dead Space was good, especially at the price it is now so theres one.
Dino D Day & mount and blade i cant speak of as never tried them.

but Battlefield Bad Company 2, Vietnam and the Specact kit are going cheap today. if you dont have them i would grab the lot, :)

If you don't have them , get the Battlefield Bad Company 2 series, good games.

Mass Effect series deal on atm if you haven't got them, difficult to recommend anything without knowing your current steam catalogue.

Brink is worth considering. You can get it for £22.50 plus £2.50 cashback from topcashback or quidco by preordering from d2d with the code SCORCHIO25 . It's steamworks so you will get it on your steam anyway. It's a great price for a new release that looks promising tbh.

oh and I'd avoid dino d day too. It's apparently amateur mod quality stuff that's not particularly fun but with a premium price tag.

Mount and Blade is great. It might be worth considering waiting for warband to be on sale though (it was £5 last week and will probably be similar in the summer sale I'm guessing) and many people, including myself, prefer it from fire and sword. But if you don't want to wait I wouldn't hesitate to recommend either one.

Yeah, it's all over the TV and Youtube ads. Looks interesting.

If you don't generally have lots of money to spend on steam best thing you can do is not rush. Just find one game cheapish and buy it, then just keep an eye on sales and pick things up cheap. For example I have metro 2033, bioshock, tombraider legends, dead space1 all yet to play, total cost for the 4 £10, bought in sales over the last 6 months. Now that is serious value gaming!

That'a pretty much what I do. Saved some serious money doing that.

If you have BC2, I would advise Portal 2 as others have said. Great game imo. Might be cheaper to buy from the rainforest place than Steam, but just enter the code into Steam and it will work. Have you played Portal 1? If you haven't, I would seriously recommend you play that first, its a great game.
