B grade items have a 90 day warranty, can be missing bits/boxes, I dont know how that affects the dell warranty.

Thanks again stulid. I was aware of the active adapters this is what made me stay clear of eyefinity for a while. I remember reading about them overheating and failing plus display port monitors were rare and dear at the time not to mention the adapters.

I was hoping by now there would be a more affordable monitor option, I could have trawled thru reviews but i trust your judgement as u spec so well all day long ;)

I hope morton comes back to his thread and gives it some thought. I would certainly kick myself if i had opted for one screen as opposed to an eyefinity 3 screen setup

The problem is asking one 6950 to push eyefinity resolutions of 5200X200 or whatever it is. the frame rates will suck.

Aye this is true but then this is why we can adjust the quality settings and overclock our gfx cards :P I think there is a similar issue with using 3D, doesnt that lower the picture quality as the card has to produce two images? I noticed you suggested the 2GB version of the 6950 and having already read reviews apparently it has enough power to run triple screens at reasonable quality settings.

I already have a dual screen setup. I find this far more useful than having one uber screen. Morton may well not want to go this eyefinity route but i thought it was worth making him aware seeing as it is a selling point of the radeon cards.
