I'm taking it as thus as per the box,

2 level scoops (2.5g) daily, 1 hour prior to training or with a meal on non-training days. There is no loading period required.

I seen others saying about 2 lots a day and bigger weight.

What do you think stick to what it says?

You mean the effects? If your plan is to gain weight, increase protein and complex carbohydrate consumption.

5g is the normal recommended serving for creatine, any more than that and you will probably just end up weeing it down the toilet bowl.

I take some before and some after, works a treat but you drink a lot of water especially when it's warm.

Is there any benefit to taking creatine when you're first starting out?

I picked up a tub of capsules when I first started hitting the Gym(6 month ago now), And I could have sworn it held off lactic acid build up for longer, But I also wondered if I was getting a placebo effect, I was working harder because I knew it was supposed to help me. :p

Just wondering what opinions are on the stuff, Do you all take creatine? I do have some left over, I may just start on them again and see where it leads.

I've tried it twice and each time ended up with strains/cramps - may be co-incidence but I didn't notice enough of a difference for me to warrant trying it again.

Wouldn't bother if you're starting out. Spend a month or two reading up on it before spending money on it. More food or BCAA's - L-Glutamine would be a better choice.

You'll want to be drinking like a fish with any form of creatine. 100mls of water per gram consumed.

Tbh I view it in the same category as N.O/Pre-workouts, helps but not really enough to warrant the cost/water retention/squits etc.
