i can't criticise the music as i have no idea what it is. it's all the green which is offensive to my eyes.

Aye, unless it adds to a theme and is conservative and simple I rarely go for skins. I've had the Bento one on Winamp for a good few years now.

+1 Did have a cool skin at one point but the font it used wasn't terribly readable.
