OH for crying out loud, why does OCUK GD suffer from things such as this, can we not implement some sort of entry exam ?, I want moon footage MOON FOOTAGE, not daft people who think we didnt walk on the moon, think elvis, jackson and bin laden are still alive, I want links from people who live in this dimension, just because im a nice guy, problems here are the words 'opinion', 'believe' etc........ a good way to live life is act upon observation, or loosely termed 'science', now, we went to the moon, because there is overwhelming evidence, there is no evidence we didn’t, non, nadda, for the final time, we went to the moon, why ? because they ****** filmed 50 hours of it, why would they fake it 9 times, just HOW did nasa put a decent stage of the lunar lander and marks in the luner soil as photographed by an independent probe in 2009? (I guess they must have sent a film crew up there to make marks in the soil to 'fake it' huh? :rolleyes: ) they bought back 100's of KG of moon rock, hell they bought back a camera from surveyor on apollo 12, people watched it launch, joderall bank monitored the signals FROM the moon as it was happening, about 50 countries in the world would want to prove the usa DIDNT go, it would be such a coop, but you know why they don’t ? because they went and did it ! Next time an armchair keyboard warrior who thinks they know better says some daft **** like the above I vote we permaban them for being tools. Yesssss people can have there own opinions but to hold a 'belief' in the face of actual god darn real life evidence is stupidity and ignorance of the highest level, it shows just how well the human mind can fool itself into believing whatever it wants to believe even if reality is the opposite, amen to buzz aldrin who smacked an idiot reporter in the face once for suggesting it was faked, because ya know these highly trained and intelligent individuals just love putting there lives on the line for humanity , people like the above must make them think whats the point, whats the point in progress when a lot of people are holding the front runners back, id even go far as to say its about time we disposed of the useless people now, there just wasting carbon oxygen and such and iv had it up to here *holds hand above head, with stupid pointless 'apparently advanced understanding' conversation, PC has ruined everything, we cant even tell people there stupid anymore for fear of reprisal, even if it is the truth (Q someone saying what if its a medical condition - yes ok thats understandable !!! it doesnt explain if someones plain thick !!), so here I am now, abit of 1960's 'right stuff' and say, people who post rubbish, shutup, no one cares your just showing yourself to be deliberately dumb, you are holding back humanity, as the rest of us must pander to your ‘valuable opinion’ thanks to PC, you know what its about time someone in 2011 turned around and said, no hold on a minute, your wasting everyone’s time, so now, I’m saying it, go away and sit with your tin foil hat somewhere out of humanities sight.**

**I base my idea of sorting things out on a little idea called evolution, why do we pander to people that are holding back survival of the fittest, we dont need a population like this, humanity in the grand scheme of things needs to have top quality humans, allow those humans to thrive and then if were lucky there ideas and forward thinking and intelligence can allow the stupid folks to experience the blessing of existance, even if they won't put it to good use, and just sit at home watching Jeremy Kyle.

What always makes me chuckle about the stupidity of the conspiracy theorists is that they ignore that Russia, the "other side", who had just lost the space race, have no problem with it.

Sweaty teenager makes youtube video denying it - conclusive proof.
 
I can't wait till they go back with high definition cameras and get some more footage, hopefully this time the high definition cameras will actually pick up the trillions of other light sources in the universe. I would love to see a picture of the milky way from the moon.

Apart from the fact that it was. It wasn't Star Trek, but it was functional with some risk and a sizeable amount of discomfort. You believe, without any evidence, that all the many people who worked on that tech have been lying ever since, a perfect conspiracy of thousands.

It's possible that you just believe what you've been told and devoutly ignore all evidence to the contrary. You don't have to be dumb to do that, but you do have to be a devout believer.

What with faked camera footage both from ships / surface of moon, along with radiation belts, absence of stars from surface, lack of colour footage of good quality when the tech was there... maybe they forgot to take good cameras. Oh, they also only allowed the media to film TV sets and not get a direct feed ?, the list is endless

Are you seriously citing the lack of stars in the recordings from the lunar surface as evidence it's faked? Seriously? You're that ignorant?

I'm still thinking that judging by the evidence the most likely explanation is that you're trolling.

It isn't the degree of definition. It's the range of light sensitivity. The lunar surface in daytime is very bright, very harshly lit. In comparison, the stars are extremely faint. Camera settings allowing photos in lunar daytime won't show such relatively faint light sources.

Seriously though fella, don't stress about it, let people believe their conspiracy nonsense and enjoy the footage. The Apollo program was epic, its something that amazes me every time I look at the moon, all done by blokes with huge balls and even bigger brains.

One day I'll go the the states and get to see a Saturn V up close,

Can you explain how Russia's equipment could tell them lies?
Can you explain the 100s and 1000s of Ham Radio enthusiasts who actually tracked the signals all the way to the moon and back (like my Grandad)?
So what exactly did America send up there to fool experts?

I'm looking out the window right now, and I can't see stars due to the fact the suns out. It's bright!

I love a good conspiracy theorist thread. Even if it's only to ridicule said theorists.
