Music beta by Google

I wouldn't trust uploading my songs... if you get what I mean...

I think Tracy Morgan put it best when he said:
"Watching MTV Cribs makes me feel better about downloading music."

Very true, the beta is supposedly limited to 50 gig (20k songs). I guess that would take a while.

Also read somewhere else that google plan to release it to the general public within a few weeks. So hopefully won't have to wait long for it.

I dislike Chris. I want to punch him.

Surely it would make more sense for google to simply scan your system for tracks and then give you access to files already uploaded?

Saves you uploading it if someone else already has, seems silly hosting the same file 1000's of times

Chris contradicts himself...

He says it takes no storage space on your mobile devices... yet 10 seconds later he explains you can listen to recently played music even if your device is offline. So yes, it does use some storage space!

When is anything modern ever truly finished?

Google Talk, why bother when there was MSN and Skype.

Google Wave, project terminated.

Google OS, what happened to that?

Android, Google themselves are beginning to admit the way the handle its deployment is poor.

Android goes from Google >> Phone Manufacture >> Mobile Network. Even then you still may not get the update depending on your phone or mobile provider.

Google Market is poor because of the above, it is easier to develop for iOS.

Apple >> Phone

you may find they do that behind the scenes but act as though it's your file you're listening to. of course it will take a lot to check it's not an edited version but just a thought that they could but do it and most would never know an yway
