The big night out debate... which would you choose

ok

for my mate's stag weekend we are doing some silverstone related stuff

ergo, for the big night out, Northampton or Milton Keynes seem to be the wisest choice

we are a group of 20 guys aged between 25 and about twice that (groom's dad), so the presence of underground gabber clubs is not really a concern. all we really want is some nice drinking holes and a cheesy club, with pretty ladies for the marrieds to look at and the singles to try and touch.

My vote is for going to Estonia, shooting machine guns, then that night sniffing coke of naked prostitutes and getting food poisoning from some dodgy russian raw meat dish thing. It's awesome. I imagine.

Do your stuff at Silverstone, and then have a proper stag do another weekend somewhere a bit more adventurous than Northampton?

none of us have lives so tepid and prosaic that a stag involves great excitement at the idea of shooting off to eastern europe to snort cocaine off hookers. We're going to have a nice old fashioned booze up.

MK has a club for pretty much any ones tastes from Oceana to the Tranny bar.
There all pretty much located in the same area (Theater District)

Whatever takes your pick

Never heard much of Northampton for a night out.

I've been out in Northampton a few times. It's alright, but nothing memorable. I got hit on by some suspiciously young girl in a place called 'Roadmenders' or something. So we moved on to a place called something like 'The Lounge'* which wasn't too bad. Got frisked on entry, but once inside it was pretty decent - relatively speaking. Free kiss of some girl after I told her it was my birthday (which was a shameless lie).

*No idea if it's closed now, or if I got the name completely wrong.
