ebay.co.uk not working. is it ok for everybody else?

Loads of big sites aren't working for me from different UK isp's and through proxy servers, something weird is going on.

BT here also, ebay, twitter, a few big forums I browse, have tried to access them via o2 3G and no go also, sounds like a DNS server issue although it's strange that BT and O2 (3g) are both effected.

EDIT -

I can access them via http://hidemyass.com/ so it has to be a DNS issue.

I can't get to the xbox rewards daily quiz thing, i noticed it on another site as well. Chrome says it is a DNS issue, i'm also on BT. Although saying that is has just now worked. Something is up though.

Yeah BT had some kinda hiccup in connectivity to many major sites from about 1:00 til 1:20 so anything routed over it failed, its been happening more and more lately, I suspect some kinda proxy/dns snaffu...

Over the last 7 days I've noticed 5 days where I happened between ~30 seconds to 30 minutes at a time usually between 11pm and 2am.

Yeah, pretty easy mistake if you've never come across it before. Same goes with 'could have', often spelt 'could have' because of how it is pronounced.
