make the stinger land to air only, even if you could only pick them up and use them whenever u want but ONLY in your home base, it'd be so much better then BFBC2, and have traditional rpgs + AT4s for tanks and trucks etc.

I wouldn't worry to much about the hardware side (jets, choppers etc)... judging by the way BF2 is balanced will hopefully sort out hardware vs infantry scenario in bf3.... reason is if you've got jets and choppers in the air the opposing side should have same, which means jets and choppers wont have much time to attack the ground as they’ll need to take out opposing hardware.

yeah which meant you had 4 camping snipers no pushing recons, no sensor balls, and a bunch of camping medics and engineers spamming rockets from the ridges.

No, he's right. As soon as you get on AA you get snipered. I find myself getting completely mullered when driving a tank because after shouting at my team for 10 minutes none of them decide to get on the tank gun to take down the helis so I get bombed to **** on the battlefield in seconds.

I've discovered that many of the people who play BC2 play like complete retards. No teamwork = lose. I've had my team lose round after round due to complete incompetence of 90% of the team members. When I'm lucky and get on a server where half the people actually support eachother, I come top or near top of the table. When everyone's out for themselves, I get totally screwed. People even like to spell their own deaths by driving off in tanks when I'm clearly an engineer yelling at them to let me in so I can support them. This game angers me like no other.

Hopefully BF3 will offer more opportunities to be able to take out aircraft. Choppers right now are near invincible (fair play to the people who learned to fly the damn things though... I can't even get the hang of the little drone ones :D). RPGs are too difficult to hit them with and ordinary gunfire has no effect.

I can't wait for it to arrive.

Got it pre-ordered from EA Store (no groaning at the back!). But with £20 off code it was only £19.99 which is a steal for the Limited Edition version inc the map pack :D
