Anyone elses realllllllllllly crap?

I received my HAF-X nvidia edition today and once I got everything fitted I was just eager to see what the fans were like.

Every single one on the case rattles except the rear exhaust.
The Side panel fan is by far the worst and the top fan sounds like its scraping something but there is nothing on show that shows that it is.
The VGA duct fan is just as bad. Doesn't help that you can't get it in properly and I can only seem to get 1 screw to keep it in place.

Was really looking forward to the side fan helping with a bit of GPU cooling :(

Goodjob I have me first WC loop on its way next week with some Scythe Gentle Typhoons :D

you shouldnt of bought the nvidia edition, what does it have over the normal edition apart from a higher price tag?

im assuming the quality isnt as good either judging by your post, everybody on here says the haf x stock fans are amazing, and the best air cooled case out there.

There is no changed over the Nvidia edition and the normal.
I liked it and it'll fit in with my water cooling build.

Probably just bad luck becuase they use the same fans. :(

Sounds like bad luck, I have the same case (and edition), the only time I encountered a problem was when I had the VGA duct fan attached to the motherboard, for some reason it made a heck of a racket.

After swapping side door fan to mobo and vga duct fan straight off the PSU, that problem went away, though unsure as to what caused it to happen as the fans themselves were not altered or moved during this time.

Had no problems with my HAF X fans, all nice and quiet. My first quality case, I just wish I had spent more on cases in the past as they are so much better than the bog satndard ones.

I have nothing but praise for the HAFX. No rattling and excellent air flow. For the VGA duct fan i use a coolermaster sickleflow with rubber mounts and it works very well. As for the VGA bracket an 80mm yate loon.

Another HAF-X fan here. Recently switched from a Gigabyte 3D Mars for my Sandy Bridge build, and I am blown away by the internal space and air cooling of the HAF-X. The cable management options are also top-notch compared to all previous cases that I've owned.

No fan problems here, all run silently and smoothly. The mesh/filter for the front fan seems to be a dust magnet though. Probably because I've placed my case on the floor; but I have to vacuum it every other week.
