MW3 DETAILS LEAKED (possible spoilers within)

CoD current engine is CRAP, the graphics aint all that AT ALL, not a patch on BC2 if i be honest and its just a camp fest, u always seem to get killed from behind.

I used to be good at it until i saw what a ****ty game it really was

Sane tired old engine. grrr.

Actually the MW engine is actually quite good.

The black ops engine sadly is not as good.

To be fair, if your PC runs black ops properly, its actually a good game. Vastly better than MW2 due to dedicated servers alone and pre DLC a good mix of levels which also force a lot of snipers to move often compared to MW2 where you could spend an entire game in 1 spot easily on most levels.

Single player on black ops was also better than most of MW2 and slightly longer also.

Are you on drugs, sir? There is no game in the world that BO's single player campaign beats.

I'm not actually, but thanks for the concern. Its vastly better than medal of honours single player and has a great plot twist in it.

Sick and tired of all the people just saying anything new in regards to call of duty is automatically crap when the sales figures, reviews and playerbase all say otherwise.

All the people saying "BF3 will be vastly better" etc are talking out of their **** as well as no one knows how good either of these two games will be and just buy and enjoy both, just like I'll be doing, unless your all skint beyond belief...

I actually agree with this.

I wasn't much of a fan of Call of Duty Black Ops' MP mode as it was just more of the same from COD4 essentially. The SP campaign however was fun as I completed it, and I rarely complete computer games these days as I get bored of SP games very very quickly. I liked the story and the twist.

I also get annoyed with people saying that BF3 will somehow be the second coming. I very much doubt it. It may be a fairly good game, but I'm holding out for either the praising reviews or the high amount of Interweb whining I've got used to reading in Internet forums recently! :p

They need to deliver, and deliver BIG, or the series will continue its massive decline.

Yes because having the fastest selling game and then the one after sells even faster is a sign that the series is in decline.

I persnally can't wait for MW3. I enjoy MW2 more than I do BLOPS so I have high hopes for a FUN game. Not arsed about graphics to be honest. I want good gameplay which the COD games always deliver on.

The twist in Black Ops was good. Cliche but good. The overarching thing about numbers was good too which eventually came to light later was good too.

But other than that? It was put together in the dumbest ****ing way possible. Flashbacks to completely random times in a seemingly random order. Vietnam, where you sneak around a base, steathily taking out a few troopers... then detonate a few bombs and turn it into a gigantic firefight that removed every advantage you had? So much macho-American bull**** you could puke. Basically strolling from 1 large fight to the next with no real pacing or difficulty curve.

And exactly why Activision will continue to release it annually with no effort. There are enough morons in this world prepared to pay for the same game they bought last year for £40-60 with minor changes to keep them in the money. I don't get why people don't just pick up MW, MW2 or BO and play those again, all the new release does is group the morons together on the same game for a bit.

No Im not mad.

Its well know that MW2 was crap and BO is a mess. This is what I wasrefering to when I said series decline.

Sales dont neccessarly make a game good.

I bought MW2 on release thinking I was buying the succesor to COD4!

BO every one bought, becuase they thought, they surely cant get it wrong again like with MW2 and all the promises coming from Treyarch.

I didnt by the game becuase: 1. I thought it looked to much like MW2 (see above) and 2. Its made by Treyarch and WAW I thought was crap also. (Multiplayer)

I actually returned it for a refund, it was that bad.

The engine is stale.... left in the dust by the FrostBite engine.

They need to deliver, or the avalanche that is gaining momentum, will be too much to resist once BF3 comes around.

Not quite as every one of those games you mentioned has a completely different single player storyline for a start. Sure the multiplayer is "similar" but black ops has 100% new maps with no rereleased ones from MW1 (which MW2 had in the DLC packs for example). Theres vastly different weapon balancing in each game, not to mention their approach to killstreak rewards, levels of prestige and how you unlock new equipment (which bfbc2 didn't do very well at all).

To say no effort is put into these games is abit silly really, considering the budgets for the newer ones have been extremely high and they are also some of the best cross platform games going, with the PC version STILL feeling like a PC game...

It's about time they stopped riding on the success wave of their previous games and brought something ground breaking to the table once more.

Hopefully they will do so this time.

its ther same engine. the same engine as cod 4. just "revamped".

/me ****** running away :)

Catch that cash cow that the cod franchise has become. Activision have no incentive to push the development team into new creative areas or spend time developing/upgrading a new/old engine while COD still sells millions with little to no creative iteration.
