I thought they were doing a good job of supporting the PC recently but then they drop the ball on something like this.
Erm no, EA have been doing a terrible job of supporting the PC community for a very very long time now.

Sweet, I'll get it on console then, never played the first![]()

They won't miss out though as EA are now giving PC gamers who buy from the EA Store a digital copy of Alice 1 remastered in HD along with Alice Madness Returns for £34.99. Only downside is you must buy & download from the EA store. There is a re-release on sold-out games for a fiver, if you can still get it anywhere..
It was my favourite game of all time and is still installed on my pc. It's a damn shame that newcomers to the alice game on pc will miss out, but I think it is a good idea that it is available free on console so that console gamers don't miss out on one of the best games ever!

That's a massive downside though as their downloader is a big pile of poo.
I strongly disagree, its very quick and easy to use, not quite as easy as Steam but I have no issue using it, for me its a lot quicker than Steam
Maybe it's improved since the last time I've used it then. Do they still stop allowing you to download after a certain length of time?
I agree but better than no Alice 1 in HD!!! Typical EA forcing gamers to populate their account base by dangling this carrot as lets face it many PC gamers love Alice1 & tying it to the EA Store is emotional blackmailThat's a massive downside though as their downloader is a big pile of poo.
It's disappointing that they decided to do it this way but I guess they want to promote their own digital sales over Steams. Still, I'd be surprised if it didn't see a release on Steam eventually.
DA and ME games need to be linked to get access to DLCs and stuff, thats why I asked.
I dont know if this game is going to be like those, I dont want to link any game to my EA account because you can get banned from those games for being critical of EA on the internet.
Actually, I forgot that I can just buy it on steam. I will wait until reductions for this game though, its not one that I will want for full price. I got the first Alice game for 3 for £10 on sold out![]()
