a severe thunderstorm line hit my village and this is a webcam shot of my neighbour. This lightning caused a noise like a bomb and then set on fire a holiday home nearby.Incredible.

This is going to sound retarded but I wish we had more of these major thunderstorms, I love them. Remember when I went to Marseilles with mates a couple of years back, we had a thunderstorm but i've never experienced anything like it. When the lightning struck it literally shook the ground you were standing on and the noise it made was amazing.

In Uk you don't have much thunderstorm because the contrast between warm and cold air is weak. Here especially in summer but also spring thunderstorm are very frequent and yearly rain amount is much more higher than uk.

In terms of weather, we get the crap bit in the middle. Not too stormy and not too lovely!

Very good. So good it's EXIF shows that it's a Canon PowerShot A510.

The site does say it's being used as a webcam though.
