Man in the tree outside our house taking photos

Ok I got a call from my parent and they have just spotted some guy in a tree taking photos of their house.

The house sits on a quite a large plot with a wall and gated entrance around it but to be honest its not going to stop a determined thief. The front garden is around 90 Ft by 100 ft wide. So does anyone have any suggestions on how I can secure the garden?

The house has a alarm but probably not the best one. Also can anyone suggest a good home CCTV system?

If you're tech savvy then there is the possibility of a webcam 'cctv' setup option. Otherwise you'll be paying extortionate prices for a proper cctv setup.

It might just be worth upgrading the home alarm system.

CCTV will give you rather good images of masked men stealing your valuable possessions. Get you're alarm upgraded to a decent zoned system and think about installing those really hardcore plastic doors (they come in wood finish etc) and double glazing.

Its a new build house so the doors and windows are all really good, I think we could do with upgrading the alarm system but something that would deter them from even coming up the garden would be good.

Some sort of laser beam alarm for the garden would be good.

I think they may be after the cars

Just disable the turrets when you are going in or use your portal gun.
