Sad to say the few thefts I've heard of amongst friends and family recently have involved the theft of dogs. Even a young labrador will get you £200+ and are probably worth more than most of the house contents to a thief.

That is nasty.

However a properly trained rottweiler won't go easy and they're lovely to their owners.

Hilarious sentence but dodgy. If it's a nice area he might be identifying weaknesses in people's home security. I really do recommend a trained dog as protection if your parents would like a dog as a companion. All dogs besides those lame toy toys that yap are awesome

concrete lined with broken glass on top of the walls. Then barbed wire at the bottom of the wall on the inside. Followed by stinging nettles. At least they will be in pain.
