Meanwhile, what appears to be the PlayStation Ireland Facebook page reports:

"Hi guys, just to clarify some PSN services, including online gameplay, will indeed go live later today (Sunday)."


A very similar statement has been released by PlayStation Europe comms boss Nick Caplin, who added: "The process has begun and some countries are being turned on now, so please be patient as we reach you. In the meantime, now's a great time to get your PS3′s firmware updated and change your password, both of which are required to get online."

Admit it, its kinda exciting having it coming back. If it had never been down you'd not beable to experience this sense of excitement!

this has probably kicked sony's **** into gear hopefully, and they bring in all the functions it should have but doesnt with upcoming updates. cross game chat, etc.

Actually it's SCEJ>SCEA>SCEE.
We get royally screwed in europe. And our PSN store is shockingly poor compared to the japan and american one
